School has just ended. And the gang has got a summer job from Daphne`s uncle at his country club in Erie Point so they can pay for the damages they did to a barn setting it on fire during one of their mysteries. On the way to the country club, Fred gets lost. They stop at a small country store called Trowburg's where a seemingly crazy woman tells them that she warned them not to build the country club, and that the Lake Monster will return.....
